At Wasteless, we are helping supermarkets fight one of our planet’s most impactful sustainability and efficiency challenges — food waste. The Wasteless Solution aims to reduce food waste by dynamically pricing items with a shorter expiration date at their optimal price point, helping retailers and suppliers recapture the full value of their products. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and cultivate the Wasteless brand and enhance industry awareness around our game-changing solution.
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop the marketing strategy for Wasteless in line with the company objectives
Own overall responsibility for brand management and company identity
Work with project teams and customers to develop detailed use cases and success stories
Lead Wasteless presence at trade shows and industry events
Cultivate Wasteless brand through development of online and print marketing assets, including but not limited to 1-pagers, website content, and white papers
Collaborate with customers to create effective marketing of Wasteless solution in stores
Own and develop Wasteless social media channels
Communicate with Wasteless management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, and develop fresh marketing ideas
Analyze and cultivate potential strategic partnerships for marketing
Initiate effective PR strategy to further promote Wasteless’ success
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of B2B marketing experience in retail technology or adjacent industry
Experience in the startup ecosystem and/or other fast paced work environments
Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on results
Strong creative outlook and proven ability to transform a vision into reality
Collaborative personality with strong communication skills and a penchant for storytelling
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
